Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath commited, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath commited, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
Yet saith the house of Israel, The Way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not My Ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
Therefore I Will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God.
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
Cast away from you all of your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
~ Ezekiel 18:27-32

Letting go of the pleasures of this life isn't easy for most of us. We wonder how we can give us so much for a God we can't even see?  I myself have had to face this question many times throughout my life. Yet the Bible sternly warns us that we must repent of our sins, and turn away from them to be saved. If we don't heed these commands, the consequenses shall torment our souls for all eternity.

The people which sat in darkness saw great Light: and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death Light IS sprung up.
For that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven IS at hand.
~ Matthew 4:16-17 ~ Jesus' Words in italic

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off,
even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
~ Acts 2:37-38

If you weigh the small pleasures that surround us in our limited time here on this earth, against the rich and eternal gift of salvation, don't you think that this is the time to come to the Lord and repent?
If you have never known the Lord Jesus Christ, and you feel drawn to Him in this moment ~
